BDCL LIGHTNING TOURNAMENT - 14th MARCH 2006

Mike Rees welcomed the teams and dedicated the event to the memory of the late
Tony and Dorothy Crump (of Birmingham Settlement), who helped organise the
event for ten years, and also Phil Church (Redditch CC) who had been a regular
player at the tournament over recent seasons. All had died since the 2005 event.

15 teams representing 8 clubs entered this tournament,
which was held at the Olton CC venue on 14th March. There were three sections, 5
teams playing in each section.
